We are local and regular customers and really enjoy Sages - the food is consistently excellent - the restaurant is clean and the staff and owners are always really friendly. I rate this as one of the best Indian restaurants in Auckland.

No concept of customer service. We are long time customers. You'd think for the sake of a few dollars they would sort things out politely (that was after a 2 hour delay in delivery of the food!!).
Will not subject myself to that again there. I do not recommend for the appalling customer service despite reliably good (not amazing, but good) food.
They were happy to offer free missing meal order when we complained but when it came time to claim that meal order they denied that anything had been missing (they didn't write it down - I had). Shocking customer service!
Anyhow, if you must eat there be sure to get the owner/manager to sign anything or they are empty words. I've never been so shocked by customer service in Auckland.

We've eaten here and ordered takeaways about half a dozen times. The menu is extensive with more than just the usual combinations. Always impressed with the food and the friendly service.

Another local resturant, this is the place that gave has brought into existance, and cultivated my love of indian. Service is always really good, and take-away is avaliable too which is sometime just what you need. Lovely big portions, and interesting beer (Tiger?). Although I have yet to make it to dessert, (can never finish the mains) it doesnt stop me going back for more. Thumbs up!!
