Its a small but very elegant cafe.We go there once every 3 months on an average and can say that the service is just marvellous.Quantity is really more than many other Indian restaurants.Highly recommended.

Simla is my absolute favourite Indian restaurant in Auckland and I can't rave about enough it to my friends and colleagues, even to the ones that live over on the Shore "Come to Mt Eden and we'll go there together!". Love their chicken korma! Very tasty menu and their staff are so lovely.

Been dining at this place for 9 years now, however this place has been going from strength to strength. Service standards have improved considerably as well as the food, although I would rate it earlier at 9.9. The decor has had subtle changes made to it, which is excellent. Had the Masala Cheese naan, not on the menu, Chicken Jalfrezi, Dal Makhani, Garlic Naan and was throughly satisfied. Asked for the curry's to be hot and politely Ravi mentioned INdian hot or just Hot, said Indian Hot, and the chef duly oblidged. <<-- Not recommended for the faint hearted.
