I was in a hurry for cheap, decent takeaway in an unfamiliar city and the reviews I read here of Thai House seemed to suggest it was a good option. The staff were nice, the portions were big and the food reasonable to good (thumbs up for the Massoman Curry). But at about $18 per meal for the beef dishes, it was rather more expensive than others' reviews led me to expect. And it was a nearly 25 minute wait for the food so I suggest working out what you want and phoning your order through first.

My family and I regularly dine here. Food always great and prices very cheap. Yes it can be noisey buy it ain't the Ritz - its a small local in Ponsonby! Recommended to all!
