Came here for lunch the other day on a Saturday and ordered number 19 from the menu list, my usual favourite food choice. This was the Red Curry Fish in Vermicelli soup dish. It was very disappointing when it arrived. The soup was quite watery and flavourless. Perhaps it was because they had a different chef on. The usual chef was there but he did not cook on this particular day. When I complaint to the manager who was there, he said that perhaps the fish they used that day wasn't of the same normal consistency. But I felt rather let down by his excuse. It was more likely that the real reason of my meal being of such poor quality, was the new chef who cooked it. So I guess the next time I order this meal will be when the normal chef is there on duty.

I've lived in Wellington for 6 years and I didn't know this place existed, so I guess it is a good secret, Wellington has kept!
I had some chicken noodle thing, my friend had one of the soups with a naan looking bread. Water was free, all tasted fantastic, was fast which is what we needed.
I think the windows need a major overhaul, or perhaps that's how it keeps hidden.

This is still Wellington's Best Kept Secret in as far as Best Valued Asian Cafe fast dining goes!! After 12 year or more of dining here, nothing much has changed at all. Still the old fast service, excellent choice of food, same quality and taste, and still at the same place. The place seems always busy as usual especially at lunchtime hours. It is still under the same family ownership and Mr Joe is still there serving us after all these years!!
