Like an Oasis in a desert of stodgy fare Jerusalem's star shines bright.
Set in a Vine leaf covered brick cobbled mall the scene is set for some simple, fresh, well-prepared Middle Eastern fare.
Everything we sampled was Freshly made, the bread the dips, the salads and a special mention to the Falafels, cooked from scratch, small crunchy morsels of goodness.......
Service was prompt and efficient and the courtyard like setting lent the right ambience to this style of food.
As someone else has already mentioned, consistency is key to the success of Jerusalem (and to all good restaurants/cafes), we make the pilgrimage every time we are in the North and are yet to be disappointed.
Maybe there can be peace in the Middle East, warring parties should take a holiday in Kerikeri and eat at Jerusalem. Login to vote x0 x0 | Add your feedback to this | Share on Facebook

We've eaten here on countless occasions, and it's always the back-stop in Keri and the consistently good place. They've stuck to the same solid menu for years now, but it never fails to deliver. Favorites are always the Falafels and Schwarma. Probably the best coffee in Kerikeri as well. Cafe Jerusalem is not drop dead sensational, but it's consistently great, superb value and big portions. Consistency is the key, and they've got it! Login to vote x0 x0 | Add your feedback to this | Share on Facebook
