went with a group of friends last friday night. ordered orange roughy fish & chips (with salad) the fish was sitting on the chips / salad. the dish looked good but the fish was sitting on the chips/salad so its oil dripped down onto it. It was basically fish/chips/salad for $25 (not value for money) but it was ok. Friends had a seafood/pasta dish which they said was ok and my other friend had nacho's which he seemed to enjoy. their cocktail was quite nicely done (its name was japanese something..mostly made of madori/juice with a cherry) not too sweet. my friend & I shared a dessert - apple crumble & ice cream it came with a bit of cream & fresh fruit. the apple in the apple crumble was a bit sour and the apple in the "fresh fruit" tasted old (almost crumbly). the dish looked good but unfortunately did not taste so good. I expected more from a restaurant in the viaduct but was dissapointed, I do not recommend coming here considering the caliber of food just across the road. We come here regularly for brunches with friends on sunny sundays - more for the novelty of being able to sit down by the waterfront as the name implies, but the food is reliably good as well, and at reasonable prices. Eggs benedict is good but the blueberry pancakes with fresh seasonal fruit is a favourite amongst our crowd. Login to vote x0 x0 | Add your feedback to this | Share on Facebook

My husband and I went for a late lunch on Sunday. The service was great and the food was good value for money. I had the CLT sandwich with avocado, but the avocado size was disappointing. The sandwich overall was tasty. The battered fish and chips were also good. Would highly recommend this place as a relaxing venue for a bite to eat and a water view.
