We are always on the lookout for a good yet affordable Indian meal so today decided to try having our lunch at Curry Leaf.
Reception was "lukewarm", we hardly had time to look at the lunch menu before we were asked if we were ready to place our order. As we had previously browsed the menu on the website we were searching for the full menu selection...when I asked the waiter about this he produced 1 menu for us to select from.( dont they have more than 1 menu? )
We noticed the waiter was quite flustered, to the point of being impatient, and tried several times to hurry us along which we found uncomfortable.
We ordered drinks and then soon after decided on entrees and mains.
The time we waited for our meals were reasonable, the food was good but served on chipped plates which I can never understand!
The wall and the menu were dirty and the toilet door didnt close let alone lock. Not a place I would recommend to visit but we would try the takeaways.

This has to be the worst Indian food I have ever eaten. After reading the reviews, I decided to try it out (takeaway). I had to throw away most of the food as it was utterly tasteless and oily. It felt as if it was cook a couple of days ago. The Lamb Vindaloo (supposed to be hot) didn't appear to have any chilli at all and the lamb itself didn't taste anything like lamb should (it was more like cardboard). The Chilli chicken was watery and had lots of oil floating on top. This place is generally busy in the evening and weekends, so I was quite surprised at the low quality of the food I had. Maybe they were having a bad week or their chef was on holiday ? Anyway, I am not brave enough to give it another go.
