Back again on 30th March for a meal before taking in a show “The Eight” (Reindeer Monologues)at Old Whangarei Library. Had Pork Schnitzel again, with a real nice potato (Swiss)side dish. Our friends also enjoyed their meals and we intend to go again as there are big changes to the menu planned, still keeping some of the old favourites we hope. A quick trip to the loo, these were absolutely spotless, and off to the show, with no spare time to spend chatting to the owner before rushing away.

Had looked in the window a few times but just hadn't gone in. It was a friend's birthday so along for lunch. Pat had a prawn and 5 salad dish. Most impressed. I went for Pork Schnitzel and it was really nice. Will certainly be back and have told a few about it. Really good value for money with large servings and quality product. A nice atmosphere and great nostalgic environment. Lots of neat old photos etc.
