Four of us ate and none could fault any of the dishes we had, all were well cooked, well seasoned and very well presented.
Our server was perhaps a little over the top in his descriptions but 10 points for effort !
Very good food ! I would definately eat here again.

If you like rich food, this is the place to go. The scallop salad was nicely presented, with a light and refreshing dressing. The hare backstrap was slightly dry but delicious flavours. The wild venison was excellent. The black pudding was very rich - portion size was just right. The deconstructed meringue was a hit. Good local wine selection and well informed staff. Definitely the best place to eat in Te Anua.
