Well we came back a year later and how things have changed...No longer is there crayfish on the menu as we know it but a very small to tiny tail only which was so over cooked(?? microwaved from frozen and then mornayed??)..to be fair the chef did try several times to get it right but it was just rubber really...shame NZ has to eat these tails from Fiordland when we have the real mccoy

Had lunch but ordered the main of duck from dinner menu. Although perfectly cooked and presented, it was so small I went home and had a sandwich. The waitress was wonderful and the atmosphere great.

we went here last Friday night fancying some crayfish and walking into the amazing view with the sun settting over the marina was magic. The staff were efficient and water and wine appeared quickly. The oyster entree was fresh and beautifully presented. We both chose crayfish for a main with a 'mornay' sauce. This was so unmornay...light and tasty with a hint of cayenne as requested served with a fresh salad. It was to die for. The cheeseboard and deseert wine rounded off a spectacular night. We WILL be back
