Went there friday 25 sep for lunch. I had the pasta and thought it was average at best, pretty bland. We also had the corn fritters which were reported the same, bland. The BLT was ok. All in all we found the place ok but nothing special.

Went here for brunch today , what a find! Great food, well presented and friendly service. The Vessca breakfast is a flavour explosion, and the eggs benedict served with excellent hollandaise sauce. Will make this one of our regular haunts and will try for dinner sometime soon.

Made Vessca my local cafe after returning to live in the Albany area. Nice friendly people and great coffee!!.
A friend and I have been doing the cafe run around the shore, checking out the breakfast menus.
It took me some weeks before I went to Vessca for breakfast, but I was very happy with the quality of the food and the presentation, as was my fussy friend :)
Last Friday we went for dinner.. and was very impressed again by the quality of the food and the service we received.
We started with the pate and mango pickle.. divine!!
I think that my meal there ( I had the eye fillet ) was one of the nicest steaks I have had for a long time.
Again the quality of the ingredients was very evident in the taste of the food, as well as the excellent cooking and presentation.
Desert was again a treat with a chocolate fondue, mandarin, marshmallows , nuts and strawberry's.
I will return again for dinner.. and look forward to that day :)
