Best Cafe in Nelson Region 2009 - Cafe mag Located in the old Cable Station Cafe, which began life back in the 1920s as a tearooms, Cable Bay Cafe is an exciting coastal destination.
The menu is broadly seafood focused, with lots of yummy extras, local wines and good coffee. There's plenty of outdoor seating in the courtyard, and more tables indoors for those windy days.
Outdoor space for the kids to play and a 5 minute walk from the beach
